Elvis Is Mum About His Love Life Elvis Presley didn´t answer the big one last night on the United Fund telecast. Mrs. Eugart Yerian asked, “Is Anita still No. 1?” Elvis didn´t answer. Mrs: Yerian said, “Guess that’s a private matter.” She and her husband, director of Memphis Little Theater, both doing the interviewing for the SUN program that included Marguerite Piazza, Cary Middlecoff and Hillman Robbins Jr., went on to other questions. |
Elvis said he starts his next picture Oct. 30. What about the draft board? “Haven’t heard from them.” What about straight acting? “I’ll never make it,” said Elvis, with a grin. Elvis went on to say, however, that he “would like a straight acting role. It would depend on the script.” Memphis Press Scimitar Oct. 2, 1957 If you have other or better quality pictures than above I’d like to hear from you. Brian |
