 "Interviewee bites interviewer" and "Elvis Nibbles On Hand of Girl Reporter" were some of the headlines all over the country the day after the Charleston show.

The girl reporter had taken a picture of Elvis, attired in a mandarin-collared grey silk shirt and high-waisted grey trousers, sitting in his car and when she put her finger on his nose he had playfully nibbled at it. Just like everybody else would have done, he said later.

The car in the lower three photos could very well be Elvis’ 1956 Plymouth Station Wagon.
